The Make program from KWA Bedrijfsadviseurs has been on the market since 2001. The program provides effective support, assurance and coordination for business operations relating to the environment, health and safety, quality, energy and safety. Many QHSE managers and coordinators use it successfully in enterprises and institutions.

Keeping up to date with current legislation and regulations

Knowing which legislation and regulations are applicable and subsequently complying with them is a difficult task for many organizations. KWA Bedrijfsadviseurs provides a service pack entitled MAKEclear that will save you a great deal of time and money in this area.

Heating degree days and cooling degree days

Definitions:

Heating degree days = baseline heating temperature - day's average temperature.If the day's average temperature is greater than the baseline temperature needed to heat a building the number of degree days is zero.

Cooling days = day's average temperature - baseline cooling temperature.If the day's average temperature is less than the baseline temperature needed to cool a building the number of cooling days is zero.

The heating and cooling temperature is 18°C for heating degree days and cooling degree days.

Heating degree days and cooling degree days are updated monthly for 34 weather stations. We aim to update our records within the first 3 days of the new month. A complete overview of the past 11 years is available in zip file format of approximately 10MB.

The average daily temperatures are measured and provided by the Royal Dutch Meteorological Institute (KNMI) in De Bilt.
